International Conference: Digital Transformation in Central Asia 2019

On October 4-6, 2019 the University of Central Asia (UCA), the State Committee for Information Technology and Communications and the High Technology Park of the Kyrgyz Republic organized an international conference on Digital Transformation in Central Asia (DTCA). Held in Bishkek and Naryn, the DTCA conference brought together over 20 international speakers from 12 countries and over 100 technology leaders, government officials, educators, and researchers to meet and discuss the latest solutions, scientific results and methods for solving intriguing problems in the fields of data collection, data analysis, public and private management, and the role of ICT in education and research. The DTCA conference was jointly organised with the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic, which has designated 2019 as the Year of Regional Development and Digitalisation. The 3-day event marked the beginning of new partnerships and initiatives that are hoped to sustain and grow digital transformation in the region.
