High Technology Park of the Kyrgyz Republic Strengthens Cooperation with IT Park Uzbekistan at GBSF 2026

Meeting Between Representatives of HTP and IT Park Uzbekistan

The High Technology Park of the Kyrgyz Republic (HTP) participated in the Global Business Services Forum 2026 (GBSF 2026). During the forum, the HTP delegation led by Director Azis Abakirov held a meeting with Azamat Karamatov, Director General of IT Park Uzbekistan.

The meeting was dedicated to the 7th anniversary of IT Park Uzbekistan. Azis Abakirov congratulated his Uzbek colleagues on their achievements. The parties discussed expanding bilateral cooperation and developing joint initiatives in the field of innovation.

Partnership Development Since 2021

Cooperation between the High Technology Park of the Kyrgyz Republic and IT Park Uzbekistan has been developing since 2021 based on a Memorandum of Cooperation.

The parties exchange experience in developing technology ecosystems, supporting IT service exports, and strengthening the region’s position in the international market.

Development of Regional Innovation Initiatives

During the meeting, HTP received an invitation to join the Central Eurasia Innovation Hubs initiative, which brings together leading innovation ecosystems of the region.

The parties discussed the development of regional innovation ecosystems, support for technology hubs beyond capital cities, talent development, investment attraction, and expanding cooperation with international partners.

Further Areas of Cooperation

Following the meeting, HTP confirmed its readiness to expand strategic partnership with IT Park Uzbekistan and strengthen cooperation in the areas of digital economy, innovation, and IT service exports.
