AI Camp Ak-Tüz 2026: AI For Villages
On July 23, Ak-Tüz hosted a regional camp demonstrating that the future of technology is accessible to everyone - regardless of location.
How can cutting-edge technologies like generative AI, open-source models, and astronomy be made engaging and approachable for participants of all ages?
The answer was AI Camp Ak-Tüz - an intensive regional event combining hands-on IT talks, popular science, art workshops, and an ethno-festival in the Chuy Region.
The event was organized with the support of the local Ayyl Okmotu administration, the High Technology Park of the Kyrgyz Republic (HTP KR), and the AI Academy.
The camp program seamlessly blended technical IT insights with observational astronomy, sports, and art. Young developers from Club 13 Super Nova presented their live AI projects, while speaker Emir Satykenov unpacked key industry trends, comparing open vs. closed systems (Kimi K3+) and demonstrating voice AI agents. Meanwhile, the Astro Center team set up an observatory, offering daytime solar observations with protective filters and nighttime stargazing. Art zones, sports tournaments, breathing practices, the "Echo of Mountains" music festival, and a retro disco rounded out the event.
AI Camp Ak-Tüz proved the impact of regional educational initiatives. The organizers plan to expand the format and bring this experience to other regions across the country.
