Bishkek will host the region’s largest open AI forum - KIT Forum 2026

On June 4-5, 2026, KIT Forum 2026 will take place in Bishkek - the region’s largest open forum dedicated to artificial intelligence, technology, and the digital economy.

The event will take place at the International University of Kyrgyzstan (IUK) and will bring together more than 3,000 participants, including representatives of business, IT companies, startups, investors, government agencies, and international experts.

KIT Forum is one of the largest technology events in Central Asia and has been held in the Kyrgyz Republic since 2010. Every year, the forum brings together representatives of business, government bodies, international organizations, the IT community, educational institutions, experts, and students from around the world. In 2026, the forum is organized by the High Technology Park of the Kyrgyz Republic jointly with the Ministry of Culture, Information, Sports and Youth Policy of the Kyrgyz Republic.

The main theme of this year’s forum is AI for All: Democratizing Artificial Intelligence. The forum will serve as an open platform for discussing how artificial intelligence is transforming the economy, business, and public infrastructure, as well as who will shape the rules of the new technological era. Today, AI is no longer just a standalone technology or product. Artificial intelligence is becoming a new form of infrastructure, comparable in importance to the internet or electricity. At KIT Forum 2026, participants will discuss key industry topics:

  • the development of open-source AI models and their competition with the closed ecosystems of major technology companies;
  • AI sovereignty and the ability of countries to create their own technologies and infrastructure;
  • the development of data centers, computing power, and access to data;
  • the impact of AI on business, markets, and companies’ competitiveness.

The first day of the forum will focus on artificial intelligence, infrastructure, and the future of the global AI economy. Special attention will be given to the accessibility of technologies, the development of AI infrastructure, and the role of countries in the region in shaping the new global technological architecture.

The second day of KIT Forum 2026 will focus on startups, investment, and the scaling of technology projects.

Participants will discuss:

  • the development of the region’s startup ecosystem;
  • how venture investment mechanisms work;
  • projects of interest to investors;
  • cooperation between corporations and startups;
  • scaling strategies and expansion into international markets.

One of the key events of the second day will be Startup Battle, a platform where startups will present their projects to investors, businesses, and international experts. The forum will also feature the KIT EXPO exhibition area, a space for presenting technology solutions, products, and services. The EXPO will serve as a platform for direct interaction between companies and potential clients, partners, and investors.

In addition, the forum will host the KIT Awards 2026 ceremony, aimed at supporting companies and projects that implement digital technologies and AI solutions in business processes.

The awards include the following nominations:

  • Best Coworking Space
  • Best Educational Project in IT
  • AI Adoption - Best Implementation of AI in Business Processes

KIT Awards 2026 recognizes practical cases of digital transformation and technology implementation with measurable results.

Participation in the forum is free of charge. Registration is open to everyone.
